About Us

3DPT Pelvic Health is a specialty service sister company of 3 Dimensional Physical Therapy dedicated to providing only pelvic floor physical therapy.

Pelvic health physical therapy works directly with the muscles of the pelvic floor. These muscles are important for controlling our bowel, bladder, and sexual function and for providing stability to our hips and lower back. Similar to working with other muscles in the body, a pelvic floor physical therapist assesses the flexibility, strength, and tone of the pelvic floor muscles, and then develops a plan to treat the impairments that are found.

Pelvic health physical therapy offers a wide range of benefits for individuals of all ages dealing with various pelvic floor disorders. This physical therapy specialty focuses on strengthening and rehabilitating the pelvic floor muscles, which can lead to improved bladder and bowel control, significant pain reduction, and enhanced sexual function. It also provides crucial support during pregnancy and postpartum recovery, aids in the management of pelvic organ prolapse, and facilitates post-surgical rehabilitation for pelvic surgeries.

Your 3D Pelvic Health physical therapist will perform a detailed assessment of your muscle imbalances, breathing mechanics, mobility, posture, and eating, drinking, and bowel and bladder habits. We combine both external and internal pelvic floor physical therapy treatments so that you have the most well-rounded pelvic floor treatment plan.

3DPT Pelvic Health appointments are cash-based only out-of-network with all insurance companies except for Medicare (Part B) plans. While we realize this model may not be suitable for every patient it offers significant advantages for those seeking personalized flexible and effective pelvic floor therapy. Whatever services provided during your visit are included in a flat rate of $140 you pay at each visit.
