Postpartum Physical Therapy

Postpartum pelvic floor physical therapy is specialized care that will focus on your recovery from child birth, whether you had a vaginal birth or a cesarean delivery. Your physical therapist will address possible issues and impairments like pelvic floor dysfunction, scar healing, muscle weakness, mobility, pain, posture, as well as gait mechanics. Your physical therapist will perform a full body assessment to determine what exercises are appropriate for you. Specific patient centered exercises, manual techniques, and education will be provided.
